Wrocław Zoo is one of the largest and most beautiful in Poland, offering a full day of exploration for families. A highlight is the Africarium, an expansive oceanarium featuring diverse aquatic life, including fish, turtles, crocodiles, and even hippos both underwater and on land. Children especially enjoy watching the seals swim gracefully through the water.
Inside the Africarium, there is a café where you can grab a meal. Be prepared for warm temperatures inside. Note that cloakroom services are available for an additional fee, and payments are typically accepted in cash.

Nadodrze Murals
In Wrocław’s Nadodrze district, there’s a fascinating courtyard where the buildings are painted in vibrant colors, each one telling a unique story. It all started with portraits of the residents being painted on the walls. Later, cats, dogs, fish, animals, and famous people began to appear in the artwork as well.
The idea behind the project was to bring some color and positivity to what used to be a rather gloomy neighborhood — and to lift the spirits of those who live there. The creator of this colorful courtyard in Wrocław is the artist Mariusz Mikołajek.
Today, this artistic courtyard attracts many tourists. You can enter it from several directions, for example from Roosevelta Street.
